XGargoyle is a M.U.G.E.N creator who was a staff member of several M.U.G.E.N communities such as Mugen Guild Forum, Random Select and the now defunct Mugen DEV. He considered himself one of the few "surviving" members still involved in some way with M.U.G.E.N, the others being Bia and [E]. His first creation was a stage from some CPS2 game before it was cracked or emulated. His first character was Pikachu, which was a spriteswap of Kung Fu Man with very basic code and a malfunctioning level 3 Hyper.
XGargoyle found out about M.U.G.E.N through a site called Retrogames, in some time in September 1999, and found it to be a lot better than another engine he used called KOF91. From then on, he released his CPS2 stage and Pikachu character for M.U.G.E.N, as said before. Some of his creations have even been released in CD-ROMs from videogame-related magazines and have been nominated for awards, two of them possibly being won. He has also reached administrator status on sites such as Mugen DEV, Mugen Guild, EmuM@ania and Emuspot, with his name being MuGenEthic on EmuM@ania, since the staff of EmuM@ania thought the name XGargoyle could be a stopper at trying to pacify and educate the people there.
