While Waluigi has sprites styled similar to Super Mario Bros. 2, it has rather limited gameplay, with only two buttons, one Special, and one Hyper. To rub the salt into the wound, its Attack stat is also extremely bloated, which can help it overcome enemies easily. That's implying it can, due to its clunkiness due to lack of comboing.
NES Waluigi uses only two buttons, leaving all but (X) and (Y) linking to unused moves. Waluigi has limited gameplay, with one Special, one Hyper, and no comboability. It also has evidence of being an edit of Kung Fu Man, with said character's .snd file being present.
What Waluigi loses in diversity and smoothness, it makes up for it with a bloated Attack stat, which can make many of its moves quite devastating, especially its lone Hyper, which can eliminate almost all of a regular opponent's lifebar. Waluigi also has a lot of Power, with said Hyper requiring 4000 Power from the 5000 Power bar. Overall, Waluigi is a clunky but overpowered character, which can make it hard to use at times.
Being an edit of Kung Fu Man, Waluigi has no custom A.I. Taking its clunkiness into consideration, Waluigi isn't too hard of an opponent, but one must take caution regarding its very high Attack stat.
