Origin

Marvel

Thor is the blood-son of Odin, the All-Father to the Asgardians, and Jord; also known as Gaea the elder goddess of the Earth. Odin decided that it was time for Thor to learn humility. Odin had Thor surrender his hammer, and then sent him to Earth in mortal guise of a crippled young medical student named Donald Blake. Odin transferred the enchantment enabling Thor to change into mortal form with a tap of his hammer. His main weapon it's a enchanted hammer called Mjolnir. It is forged by Dwarfs with Asgardian magic, and is composed of the fictional Asgardian metal "Uru". The side of the hammer carries the inscription "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor". He was a founding member of the team of Earth's mightest heroes—The Avengers—and continued to serve with them from time to time throughout the years.

In M.U.G.E.N, Thor has been created by Loganir & Black Dragon. In 2013 Loganir also made a edited version to be part of the Infinity Mugen Team project, "Avengers vs. X-Men". Loganir is also working by sometime on a major update to the character with a modern look and new features, dubbed as "Thor 2.0".
