The Subway is a stage from Mortal Kombat 3. It takes place in an abandoned Subway, right underneath The Street (which the opponent can also be uppercutted onto). Most of the time, you fight Kano here. A stage fatality is also possible in this stage, where the opponent lands on the other tracks getting hit by a train shortly after. Interestingly, the signs in the background have the words "Boon" and "Tobias" on them, which is a reference to both Ed Boon and John Tobias, the creators of the original Mortal Kombat.
In M.U.G.E.N, The Subway has been created by Nick09 with two versions, one hi-res and other low-res. Another version was created by XTRM which includes a version from Mortal Kombat Armageddon.
