Origin

Pokémon

Stunfisk is a Ground/Electric-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. Although it does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon, it does have a regional variant native to the Galar region known as Galarian Stunfisk. It appears at #231 in the Unova Pokédex and #618 in the National Pokédex.

Stunfisk tends to hide under the sand on beaches, waiting for unsuspecting prey to tred on it so it can zap them; it pulls a funny smile when discharging this electricity. It can easily withstand the impact of anything that steps on it, due to its thick skin. Stunfisk that are native to the Galar region have evolved jagged steel fins due to living in the Galar region's iron-rich mud; as a result of this adaptation, Galarian Stunfisk use these fins to clamp down on prey that are lured in by its lips.

In M.U.G.E.N, Stunfisk was made by Kozeni, under its Japanese name 'Maggyo', based on its Unovan form.

Gameplay[]

Stunfiskmugen

Maggyo is a well-made character, with consistent hitboxes and balanced attack damages; once either palette 7 or 12 is picked, however, it becomes a very strange character, with palette 12 being the weirdest. When palette 7 is chosen, Stunfisk is accompanied by a person, an anchor-like creature, a Pichu whose fur is on end, and tiny little Maggyos that multiply throughout the match, who all attack by their own accord; what makes it odd is that they can hit both the opponent and Maggyo itself. When palette 12 is selected, the same as selecting palette 7 happens, but Maggyo attacks without the player having to do anything, and it starts the match using all of its Hyper attacks.
