Steve is the default skin the player beholds when playing the famous indie game, Minecraft. The default player is sometimes known as "Steve". Steve is not the real name for this character. The real name is just "Player". The default player's skin has brown hair and blue-purple eyes wearing a cyan shirt, a pair of jeans and grey-black shoes.

In M.U.G.E.N, Steve has been made by Ivan Luiz and Knowe386, with the latter being private. He is also a W.I.P by FierceDeityGeek, LinkSmashBros4, and Swoogg.

Knowe386's version

Minecraft Steve by Knowe386

Knowe386's version uses the MvC template, thus having MvC abilities and bugs from the template. He is still a beta character, and as a result, he has moves that do not work, such as some normal attacks. Despite the lack of normal attacks, he can still pull off some medium-sized combos.

Satanchu's version

Being a spriteswap of Hanyou's Super Mario 64, Satanchu's Steve is incredibly cheap and spams projectiles at times. Steve may transform into a tiny version of Super Mario 64 and use some of his special moves.

Hovering the mouse cursor over the Command Input icons will display text that refers to the inputs set in M.U.G.E.N's Key Config.

Icons encased in square brackets [ Button-D ] require the respective button(s) to be held down. Hovering the mouse cursor over the icon displays the hold duration if applicable.

Endhyta's version

Paletted steve

This character is an edit of DOS KFM, which means he only uses 2 buttons, one for a punch and the other one for a kick. Steve does not have a custom A.I, meaning it uses the unchallenging A.I provided by the M.U.G.E.N engine.

NenZilla's version

This version uses 6 buttons with 2 being for supers though they can be used even if the power bar is filled by a little bit as well as them being used by one button, except for the Enderdragon Super, and being overpowered.

  • Only Knowe386's version of Steve has an actual voice from the game.
