Origin

Pokémon

Solosis is a Psychic-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It is the first stage of the Reuniclus evolution family, and appears at #139 in the Unova Pokédex and #577 in the National Pokédex.

Due to the thick, green "bubble" that surrounds them, Solosis can survive in a number of different environments and climates. Although rather defenseless and slow, Solosis have powerful psychic power that allows them to fend off most attackers and to communicate through telepathy.

In M.U.G.E.N, a Solosis character has been made under the name of 'Monyu Monyu', although such a name is not a recognised translation of Solosis. Even though it is stated in its definition file that its author is Elecbyte, the character was actually created by sudara13.[1] Judging by the unchanged author name and most of its hitboxes, it most likely uses Kung Fu Man as a character base.

Gameplay[]

Although it has four Hypers, five basic standing attacks, and six basic crouching attacks, only seven of these attacks actually do something. None of the Hypers inflict damage, but rather spawn bigger versions of this character that just sit around and do nothing whatsoever; pressing Z while standing causes Monyu Monyu to warp behind the opponent and spawn a huge version of itself in the middle of the screen, pressing A while crouching spawns yet another bigger clone of itself, and pressing X while crouching does pretty much the same thing as pressing Z while standing.
