Origin

Pokémon

Scolipede is a Bug/Poison-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It is the final evolution of Venipede, and it appears at #045 in the Unova Pokédex and #545 in the National Pokédex.

Despite their size, Scolipede are extremely fast, which they use to their advantage when hunting for prey. They use their sharp, claw-like spikes on their necks to jab their opponents in an attempt to poison them. Generally, this will lead to either paralysis, or even death of the opponent. Scolipede are very aggressive and will not give up fighting until victorious.

In M.U.G.E.N, Scolipede has been made by Madoldcrow1105 and AxKing. Madoldcrow1105's version is made up of custom-made sprites and special effects, and also has has the electrocution, burning and freezing animations that are present in all of his characters. AxKing's version also uses custom sprites to some extent, though they're basically enlarged sprites from Pokémon Black and White that have been cleaned up by hand, producing quite ugly results.

Unlike his other characters, Madoldcrow1105's signature magenta outline compliments Scolipede's natural colouring. While this character's moveset is a bit sparse, what moves it does have do a sizeable amount of damage, with quite a few of them able to trip an opponent.
