A slow, heavy-hitting character, ramparudo takes cues from the Pokémon games, so while it may be quite powerful, it's also quite frail and can't take too many hits before being K.O.'d. Comboing isn't exactly its highlighting feature, but with power like this, it doesn't matter if you can only rack up three to five hits.
Ramparudo is a three-button character that uses Ⓐ, Ⓑ and Ⓒ to attack. Its movement speed is relatively slow and clunky, but its horizontal jumping distance is quite impressive, and it is able to jump over reasonably-sized characters like Kung Fu Man, despite its physical build.
Ramparudo is not a combo-heavy character, being able to pull off around three to five hits by chaining moves; most of its moves on their own can deal some high damage, however. Much like its Pokémon game counterpart, ramparudo has more attack than Defence, with its Defence being lower than the average character's.
Ramparudo does not have a custom A.I., so it resorts to using the M.U.G.E.N default A.I. Ramparudo either blocks or jumps around for the majority of the match, only occasionally stopping to attack; fortunately for Ramparudo, its damage output slightly remedies this.
