Origin

Ace Attorney

Phoenix Wright is a lawyer and the main protagonist of the Ace Attorney series. He is best known in the series as a defense attorney who can bring a turnabout in the worst situations inside court. He also appears as a playable character in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

After having been rescued as a child from fake claims of stolen lunch money by his childhood friend Miles Edgeworth, Phoenix took inspiration from Miles into becoming a defense attorney. Since then, he became a world wide known attorney who saved many innocent lives from setups and brought many criminals to justice. His main catchphrases "Objection!" and "Take that!" are remembered by many players at the point of turning into an internet Meme.

In M.U.G.E.N, Phoenix Wright has been made three times, by Omegabros, HAPPA, and Blade & Rikaloniel.

Omegabros' version

OmegabrosPhoenixWrightidle

This Phoenix Wright could be considered a joke but it isn't. Replicating a fighting style based on his many sprites used in the original trilogy, it can only make use of five attacks and his only Hyper is rather cheap, dealing huge amounts of damage in no time.

BR-WrightIdle

This version of Phoenix Wright is the first to make use of a fighting style moveset, more specifically a moveset based off his appearance in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and sprites based off such moves. The main difference though is his six-button layout more reminiscent of the older Marvel vs. Capcom games, rather than the three-button-and-launcher layout from Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
