Origin

Pokémon

Pachirisu is an Electric-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It doesn't evolve from or into any other Pokémon, and it appears at #055 in the Sinnoh Pokédex and #417 in the National Pokédex.

Like Pikachu, Pachirisu stores electric energy in its cheeks, though unlike the electric mouse, it fires the energy through its tail. It creates balls of fur charged with electric energy that it leaves in its nest with berries it has collected.

In M.U.G.E.N, Pachirisu has been made by The Emolga and Some Guy 2000. Both versions use sprites that appear to be taken from Pokémon Black and White, though some have been edited for the sake of attacks, hitstates, etc.; similarly, both versions attack mainly though electricity, though also uses parts of their body like their head and tail.

Pachirisu is a 6-button character with a heavy emphasis on combos and long hitstuns. Pretty much every attack combos into another or itself, and the A.I. takes advantage of this, though in some cases, the easy combos come from the long hitstuns inflicted by the previous attack, making Pachirisu quite cheap. Pachirisu also has three attacks that use up power, but are not classed as hypers. Pressing B repeatedly can cause an easy infinite.

As mentioned prior, the A.I. makes use of Pachirisu's innate combo ability and is very relentless, spewing out attacks even when the opponent is lying down or out of reach, though it most notably uses its launcher attack when the opponent is lying down to get the opponent into the air as soon as they get back up, ready to be air combo'd. From afar, Pachirisu's A.I. will constantly spam "Pokeball Whip", which the player cannot actually do due to the activation code's helper check, which is absent in the A.I. coding.
