A Muncher is a green creature originating from the popular mathematics games from the 1980s and 1990s, Word Munchers and Number Munchers, which were part of the Munchers series of educational games.
Munchers, as their name would suggest, eat things, most notably words and numbers. This specific Muncher prefers numbers over words, but is quite picky when it comes to what numbers it eats. The enemies of the Munchers are called Troggles, two-legged monsters with large heads that set out to disrupt progress.
In M.U.G.E.N Number Muncher has been made by DJ HANNIBALROYCE. He also appears as the finisher move of Wild Woody.
