Origin

Pokémon

Muk is a Poison-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It is the final evolution of Grimer, and has a regional variant in the Alola region known as Alolan Muk. It appears at #089 in both the Kanto and National Pokédexes.

Muk are Pokémon that are notorious for their putrid stench that drives any living animal away. They are known to live in dank, disgusting areas like sewage networks, as they provide the perfect conditions for them to thrive in. It is rumoured that both Muk and its previous evolution were created from man-made toxic waste. Because of their unique diet, Muk that are native to the Alola region have produced a unique type of toxin as a result of a chemical reaction, which have solidified into crystals that protrude from their body. As as result of these crystal formations, Alolan Muk do not give off the same putrid stench as their international cousins.

In M.U.G.E.N, Muk has been created by Hugespongebob98 and Alerkina4, with both versions being based on its Kantonian form. Hugespongebob98's version uses sprites taken from the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, much like his other Pokémon characters, whereas Alerkina4's version uses custom sprites.

Made using the smallest possible sprites available, Muk fails to be anything more than a Kung Fu Man spriteswap. Its attacks are incredibly slow, with some being unable to hit the opponent.
