Master Hand is a recurring boss character in the Super Smash Bros. series. He is usually the boss at the end of Classic Mode (1P-Mode in the first game) where the player battles him at Final Destination.
Starting with Super Smash Bros. Melee, Master Hand has a companion known as Crazy Hand; Crazy Hand is similar to Master Hand, but is a left-handed glove and is faster and more erratic, while Master Hand is a right-handed glove and is more relaxed. He also appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Adventure Mode, The Subspace Emissary. Both Master Hand and Crazy Hand are actually the hands of a shadow entity known as Master Core, who appears as a final boss character in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Master Hand also appears in Kirby and the Amazing Mirror where he, along with Crazy Hand, are the bosses of "Candy Constellation".
This is the only known version of Master Hand that has been made for M.U.G.E.N. His sprites are from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, but his voicepack is from Super Smash Bros.; his attacks are from the 2 games respectively. When fighting Master Hand, he acts almost exactly as he does in Super Smash Bros.; he does not flinch when hit, he attacks between pauses, and when defeated, he screams and explodes out of the arena. His attacks can deal a lot of damage, making beating him with characters even as cheap as Super Mario 64 quite a challenge. Despite this, Master Hand is actually a very well-made character.
The key on defeating Master Hand is knowing how to balance attacking and defending against his moves, since he does a lot of damage, it is not advised to make many mistakes. Be wary of Master Hand's slow but unblockable grab attack once his health is bellow half, it will potentially reduce 3/4 of your life in one painful combo.
