A hard-to-beat strong arm that can outmaneuver most cheap A.I. characters in a breeze, Master Hand functions exactly like it does in the Super Smash Bros. series. It may be a being of power, but that doesn't stop it from giving you a thumbs-up.

Masterhand

This is the only known version of Master Hand that has been made for M.U.G.E.N. Its sprites are from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, but its voicepack is from Super Smash Bros.; its attacks are from the two games respectively. When fighting Master Hand, it acts almost exactly as it does in Super Smash Bros.; it does not flinch when hit, it attacks between pauses, and when defeated, it screams and explodes out of the arena. Its attacks can deal a lot of damage, making beating it with characters even as cheap as Super Mario 64 quite a challenge. Despite this, Master Hand is actually a very well-made character.

The key on defeating Master Hand is knowing how to balance attacking and defending against its moves, since it does a lot of damage, it is not advised to make many mistakes. Be wary of Master Hand's slow but unblockable grab attack once its Life is bellow half, as it will potentially reduce 3/4 of your Life in one painful combo. It is a good idea to attack Master Hand with a few quick attacks, rather than one strong one, since every time it gets hit, they stop for a split second.

Master Hand does not attack like a normal character, and so its array of different attacks are activated through pressing different buttons.

Hovering the mouse cursor over the Command Input icons will display text that refers to the inputs set in M.U.G.E.N's Key Config.

Icons encased in square brackets [ Button-D ] require the respective button(s) to be held down. Hovering the mouse cursor over the gap displays the hold duration if applicable.

  • There are two .def files for Master Hand. One is "MastrHnd", which has Super Armor, while "MHand" has none.
  • Master Hand is one of the very few characters that has the up arrow as part of a Special or Hyper activation method (another example is Yellow Devil).
  • Master Hand is one of those few characters that can go off-screen.
