  • Don't advertise on this wiki. Wikia advertisements are enough now.
  • Don't spam! You will get a ban!
  • Follow the MUGEN Database:Manual of Style!
  • Make sure to categorize!
  • Not following the rules of Wikia could mean a ban too.
  • User pages are not mainspace articles. No user other than the user the userpage belongs to or admins are allowed to edit the page. Admins are only permitted to edit the page IF there is unacceptable content on there - grammatical errors, missing hyperlinks, etc. are NOT reasons to edit userpages, as these are faults on behalf of the user themselves.
  • If the article you create is not related to M.U.G.E.N, then the article will be deleted and you will be warned.
  • No abusive behaviour! This includes racism, name calling, swearing, and anything else that can offend.
  • No overload of inappropriate images, even if they are to do with M.U.G.E.N; we are aware that there are Hentai (anime porn) characters and stages, but any image to do with them will be deleted and the uploader will be warned.
  • Don't make notes on pages other than your userpage or talk page, or your note will get removed.
  • Normal users are not permitted to remove certain templates that have put on an article; only an Admin can delete these templates, as it is their decision as to whether an article is still in said state.
Templates such as these:

are the templates that this rule applies to.

  • Any article with attrocious spelling/grammar will be deleted (I don't mean odd mistakes, I mean if the majority/whole of the article is awful).
EXAMPLE:
Deleted: This char is liek tota epci and relesed for mugne now. (Overall awful quality, and I'm surprised that this person knows how to speak at all)
Not deleted: This character has been consdered to be one of the best around due to its unique design and general overall balance (Barely noticable errors, including a missing "i" in considered (a typo), a missing comma between around and due, and a missing a full stop at the end of the sentence)
  • As of April 2012, articles about characters that haven't actually been released yet (W.I.P.) should be deleted. If a W.I.P. character is added to an article about a character that HAS been created/released, then that is acceptable.
  • If the article is missing an infobox, it will not be deleted, unless the article ties in with the above rules.
  • If the article contains nothing but content blatantly copied from another Wiki, then it will be deleted.
  • The character has to ACTUALLY BE IN THE PROCESS OF BEING MADE. Characters that someone plans on making, but haven't actually started making yet SHOULD NOT BE PUT INTO AN ARTICLE!
  • Blaming your actions on a disability (ie poor grammar "because you're autistic") will give you a warning.

The severity of the consequences of repeatedly going against these rules will of course increase, with the worst consequence being a permanent ban from this Wiki.
