Among the various books in Patchouli's library, the one book Koakuma came across was an old 90's game guide for Clayfighter 63⅓. Apparently Patchouli had an old subscription to Nintendo Power, since Koa decided to incorporate game mechanics of both this game and Donkey Kong Country into her fighting style as well. Whatever unethical cloning experiments went on under Remilia's lordship, only this deranged specimen knows.
This Koakuma is a six-button character with a unique gameplay system inspired by that of Clayfighter 63⅓ that relies more on melee attacks than projectiles. By using Blunt Object, Koakuma can collect various items such as stars (collect 10 for an extra "life"), Life Balloons (colored as Red, Green and Blue, giving one, two and three "lives" each, respectively), K-O-N-G Letters, which grant Koakuma an extra "life" if all are collected, and the the Glitch Balloon anti-powerup, which subtracts 1 "life"; such "lives" are used during Live-Alive, which restores 200 Life.
