Irisu Kyouko is the main character of the game Irisu Syndrome, overseeing the player's progress in the puzzle game. She is also a tragic figure with emotional and mental instability, which may lead her to cause harm as the story is unlocked.
Like most Nijikaku characters, Irisu is very hard to pin down to a specific playstyle and is quite gimmicky, but powerful if played correctly and with practice, as she is far from a typical character. A five-button character, she primarily attacks with her fists and a spiked bat, the latter of which is very important. One button causes multcolored blocks to fall from the top of the screen, which can be hit by either the bat or an attack that sends gray squares upwards. Successfully doing this fills up the red gauge at the bottom of the screen, although attacking opponents with the bat will also fill up the meter, though much more slowly. Certain actions, such as performing a super/hyper, will also place a cat icon by the meter.
This secondary meter is used primarily for an extremely quick dash. Once the maximum amount of cat icons by the meter is maxed out, Irisu becomes capable of an OHKO.
Her AI is weak and borders on incompetence.
Hovering the mouse cursor over the Command Input icons will display text that refers to the inputs set in M.U.G.E.N's Key Config.
