This version of Fygar comes jam-packed with many references to Namco's various old arcade catalog. Fygar is striker based, and uses many of these old characters in its Specials and Hypers. It also seems to be rather flashy, with various bright effects and a wide range of sounds, not unlike the creator's other characters.
More or less, Fygar, at first, seems to be a four button character. However, it uses the remaining two buttons ((Z) and (C)) for one of its Hypers. Fygar seems to take a custom gameplay style that many of RoySquadRocks' characters (mostly his older ones) seem to follow. It also seems to be unable to crouch.
Fygar is both combo heavy and striker heavy. Its Normals, which involve Fygar breathing fire, deal several hits. All of its Specials are also strikers, but only one can be summoned at a particular time, and not immediately after the last striker was used. Fygar also seems to have very profound range, being able to hit opponents from afar. All Hypers, excluding Big Breather seem to also border on being fullscreen Attacks, due to having screen covering proportions.
While also offering a setting with an easy default A.I, Fygar has custom A.I coding, but it isn't very strong, tending to block more than attacking.
