Ever wondered how Flappy Bird would work in M.U.G.E.N? This character can be controlled with the attack buttons just like in the source game, but getting hit by an attack or hitting the ground results in an instant K.O. Its only way to attack is with a single Hyper, but passing through the opponent while flapping around allows it to gain Power.
Flappy Bird is a joke character with gameplay faithful to the source game. Pressing any attack button makes it flap upward. It can be controlled with the directional buttons while flapping around. However, when it hits the ground or gets hit by an attack, it is instantly K.O.'d regardless of its Life.
It only has a single attack, which is a Hyper, and it's activated with the (S) button. The Power to use it must be accumulated by passing through the opponent while flapping. It also gains Power with every flap, albeit very slowly. When the Hyper is used, it will spawn pipes that can hit the opponent. It is also unblockable. If all of the pipes hit the opponent, it will be K.O.'d in most cases. However, if Flappy Bird touches a pipe, it will also get K.O.'d, meaning the player must pass through the pipes during the Hyper to avoid getting K.O.'d.
It has no hitboxes during its idle animation, but it does have hitboxes while flapping. It is also able to flap an infinite amout of times and flap off-screen, allowing the player to stall out the match and safely gain Power. However, because it's very hard to accumulate enough Power to use the Hyper, this character is very hard to use and it's very hard to win a fight with it, let alone activate its Hyper.
It has no custom A.I. and uses the engine's default. Because of the nature of the default A.I., it will obviously K.O. itself by flapping upwards once or twice then stopping and crashing into the ground. Also, it can be hit while flapping. This makes it an absolute pushover, completely unable to attack because it's impossible for the default A.I. to accumulate enough power to use its Hyper.
