Another Marvel vs. Capcom 2 conversion, this version of the world warrior has somewhat different different gameplay, using six buttons, but as usual, still has unmatched chainability. However, it may possibly be able to chain too well, as its SummerSault can obliterate over 3/4ths of an opponents lifebar when used in rhythmic succession.
Xzero's Guile is a six button character who's gameplay is heavily based off its appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. While it generally plays similar to Guile, the system the character runs off of is modified. The comboing is faster than the source, and it also doesn't use four buttons for its Normals. It also excludes the striker system, often common in Marvel vs. Capcom series conversions.
Guile seems to be very combo heavy, much like other characters from the source. However, being a charge character, it also has a very potent zoning game, as both of its Specials have some sort of projectile, but Sonic Boom's projectile is much more straightforward. This move can easily catch inexperienced players off guard if spammed.
It isn't without its faults, however. All of its Hypers, sans Sonic Boom Typhoon, give back a very small amount of power. The character also contains the infamous walking Ⓧ infinite. When done against a wall, SummerSault Kick can chain multiple times into itself, to the point where it can decimate more than half of an opponent's lifebar (also seen in the same creator'sCharlie Nash). This does require timing, however.
SummerSault Kick also seems to have a slightly different command, in that it doesn't require charging. This may have been done to prevent constant accidental super jumping. Also, none of Guile's Hypers seem to use Ⓩ or Ⓒ. Its crouching kicks also hit .
Leaving all the comboability to waste, Guile seems to have no A.I, so it jumps around and blocks more than actually attacking.
