Mortal Kombat |
Chameleon is a ninja who utilizes camouflage during fights in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. He made his debut in the Sega Genesis version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. He can also use the power of the other ninjas at will.
Mike Obrecht's version[]
Based on his original appearance in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Chameleon is only able to use attacks corresponding to the character his current color matches (e.g. he cannot throw Scorpion's spear while he is colored blue). His fatalities are taken from other Mortal Kombat characters, and he can use any of them regardless of which color he is on.
Marcos SSJ4's version (Sub.Rep.Scorp.)[]
Although not technically Chameleon, this character has some elements of him. As his name implies, Sub.Rep.Scorp. is a combination of Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Reptile and is able to use all of their attacks in his arsenal. He is also able to perform sophisticated combos similar to games such as Street Fighter. In return, his power is greatly diminished in comparison to the original ninjas, and is unable to perform fatalities. This allows him to hit very fast, but he does not hit very hard. There is also an alternate variant known as Evil Sub.Rep.Scorp., who hits with enhanced damage and almost no projectile limits. This is frequently abused by the A.I.'s tendency to spawn ludicrous amounts of ice clones and energy balls, making it almost unbeatable.
