When first downloading this Venom, it will be A.I only, but to fix this, open VenomAI.txt in the MVC2Venom folder, and put a semicolon before Trigger53 = 1 under [State -3,Activate_AI]. Afterwards, Venom can be used by a human player.
While this Venom takes influence from Marvel vs. Capcom 2, it uses six buttons, rather than the source game's four. Venom seems to contain its moves from said game. It is unable to use the Venom EX form due to it being unavailable in the source game. Also, the Death Bite Hyper may not activate.
Venom does have some flaws present. Some of the CLSNs are messed up. The Venom Rush Special, if timed right, could possibly infinitely trap the opponent. It also has a rather high damage output.
Venom's A.I is brutal, almost leaning to the cheap side. It tends to combo a lot.
