Takobue is a Japanese character themed as a black octopus with Mickey Mouse's head based on a Hatena user's icon. The image originates from a logo drawn on packages of cotton candy sold by the chain Fukujuseikaho, sold in the 1960s.

In M.U.G.E.N, Takobue has been made by the Nijikaku Team.

Gameplay

Takobue is a very basic character only having two punch buttons, two special buttons and a grab button. His AI is basic and is very suitable for novice players to go against. One issue with Takoube is that he was built on Kung Fu Man's file allowing Takoube to perform some of his moves, however these moves have not been scripted to a sprite meaning when he performs these moves, he will become invisible until the move has finished. His moves do not deal lot of damage as well as most of his special and hypers except for his big "Shun Tentacle Sastu" move which deals plenty of damage when done. Also, one of his hypers is very similar to Kung Fu Palm. He also can teleport and shrink enemies.
