Sylveon is a Fairy-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series that also makes an appearance as a support character in the 3D fighting game, Pokkén Tournament. It is one of the eight possible evolutions of Eevee, with the others being Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon and Glaceon. It appears at #085 in the Coastal Kalos Pokédex and #700 in the National Pokédex.
An evolution of Eevee that evolves through the affection received from their trainers, Sylveon are calm and friendly, especially towards their trainers. Their most prominent features are their feelers, which they use to calm down other Pokémon who are fighting by emitting a soothing aura from them.
In M.U.G.E.N, Sylveon has been made by Ayato589. Unlike the other Eeveelution characters, Sylveon's sprites have black outlines with barely noticeable shading, and are not smoothly animated. It also has no vocal sound clips, and most of its attacks involve merely ramming into the opponent.
Sylveon has a very limited moveset, using Ⓐ, Ⓧ and Ⓨ for regular attacks and Ⓑ for throws. Ⓒ is used in conjunction with to activate one of its two specials, while Ⓩ is not used at all. It is possible to cause an infinite by spamming "スピードスター" in a corner, though it requires precise timing.
As with many Japanese-made characters, Sylveon comes with its own cheap palette modes, with its 12th one being the cheapest. The 12th palette prevents normal characters from dealing damage to it, as well as knocking out the opponent(s) in one hit if they perform a direct attack (non-projectile/helper), even if the attack doesn't make contact.
Sylveon's A.I. is able to use moves that the human player cannot, unless the human player is using Sylveon's 10th or 12th palette. The A.I. is also able to perform combos that the human player cannot, making it heavily biased in the case of a mirror match.
