Soul Ninja MK2 are a group of different characters in one file created by Juano16. This character includes all the ninjas from Mortal Kombat II. In addition to this, Ermac and Rain from Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 have been added, but have been styled to look like the ninjas from Mortal Kombat II.
Selecting Ninjas[]
The way this works is that each character has been assigned to a palette number and when that palette is selected, the player gets all the moves from that ninja. The characters which are included are...
- Sub-Zero - Palette 1 & 7
- Scorpion - Palette 2 & 8
- Reptile - Palette 3 & 9
- Noob Saibot - Palette 4 & 10
- Smoke - Palette 5 & 11
- Ermac - Palette 6
- Rain - Palette 12
- Chameleon - Secret Palette
Gameplay[]
These characters are, in general, all very accurate to the original game. They all have quite advanced AI, making them tough opponents even on easier AI levels. They have about the same relative damage as is expected from a Mortal Kombat character, keeping in regards to the attack and defense stats as well. Because of this, this character has gained a good reputation by the community. Fatalities[]
Each of the ninjas has their own unique set of Fatalities. All the original Fatalities from Mortal Kombat II are included, as well as some fan favorites from past or future games. In addition to this, Stage Fatalities make a return, and can be performed on Juano16's following stages by doing a basic uppercut:
- The Bell Tower
- The Pit II
Any attempt to perform a Stage Fatality on a non-compatible stage will instead result in the victim being uppercutted into a generic ceiling of spikes.
