One of Spidey's incredibly gritty rivals has made it to M.U.G.E.N with gameplay influenced by the Marvel vs. Capcom series. Sandman's A.I and gameplay is very deadly and top-notch, especially in the hands of experienced players.
The Sandman is a character with many tricks and maneuvers both offensively and defensively. He is a 6 button character with many Supers and a good amount of Hypers. His A.I. is quite advanced and makes very good use of all of his moves, often sliding under the character and trapping them in sand before activating a Hyper. He can be very brutal activating a Hyper whenever it has power and using his sand grab move to hold the opponent still while he begins his assault. Novice players should not fight against Sandman due to his complex and brutal nature. When player controlled, he can be just as strong. However, Sandman is not a quick combo character and it can be hard to make the continuous assault the A.I. does so well. Overall Sandman is a fun character with a magnitude of moves and maneuvers which can disorientate your opponent.
