Gameplay[]

This character is a spriteswap of hsiehtm's NES Super Mario, and adapts the exact same gameplay as said character. As a result, his only means of attacking is by jumping on the opponent. The jump is activated by pressing the 
button. He cannot jump by pressing the 
button. He also uses the 
button to run and the 
button for another purpose explained below. He has no Special or Hypers.
Because he has only one way of dealing damage to the opponent, his options are very limited. However, you can repeatedly bounce on the opponent to rack up huge damage. The attack is also unblockable. His size is also smaller than most characters.
Normally, this character can only survive two hits; on the first hit, he blinks and gains invincibility frames, like in Mario games. However, on the second hit, he gets instantly KO'd, unless the button is pressed after the invinciblity ends, allowing him to take another hit. This can be repeatedly done until the Life bar is depleted normally. While NES Mario has a visual indication on whether the player can take another hit or not (NES Mario becomes small when hit and big when pressing the button), Fortran doesn't have any.
He has no custom A.I., meaning he uses the engine's default. Because of this character's gameplay, he will move around most of the time and rarely jumps. His jump almost never hits the opponent. Because he can only take two hits unless you press the button, and the A.I. rarely does so after being hit, he's an absolute pushover.
