As a very early version of Piccolo, this version happens to more balanced than one would think, considering how early it was released. It uses sprites from Dragon Ball Z: Hyper Dimension, but plays nothing like said game, adopting a four button layout akin to the King of Fighters series and Kung Fu Man.
This version of Piccolo is a four button character (five if the Ⓢ Power Charge is included), opting not to use Ⓩ or Ⓒ. All four buttons are used for Normals.
Piccolo has overall passable comboability. It seems to have a launcher-esque Normal (standing Ⓨ) but no real ability to aerial rave. It has a few projectiles, making it useful from afar.
It has two Hypers, one using 1000 Power and the other using 2000 Power. The latter is quite powerful, dealing very hefty damage to an opponent with 100 Defence and 1000 Life. It is possible that the character is incomplete, as there are some unused commands in the .cmd, possibly hinting at some abilities it could have had. It also has some sort of move preformed with Ⓐ+Ⓑ, but it has no hitboxes.
Piccolo has no custom A.I, meaning that it jumps around, blocks, and attacks on occasion. This makes for an easy opponent.
