This version of Captain Commando is a source accurate conversion from the first Marvel vs. Capcom game. It uses six buttons.
While Captain Commando has all of its moves from the source game, it manages to have many useful combos and tricks up its sleeves. It can summon its three comrades, but Jennety seems to be useful as an anti-air attack, as it may not connect with opponents on the ground. Captain's moves tend to have a rather long range, giving it control over the field.
Captain Commando's A.I is somewhat tough to defeat, similar to Splode's other characters. However, most experienced players will consider it a bit of a cakewalk, as it can be taken down using the right strategies.
