Origin

Fantasy Zone

Opa-Opa is a sentient space ship and protagonist of the Fantasy Zone games. He appeared in not only Fantasy Zone, Fantasy Zone II: The Tears Of Opa-Opa, and Fantasy Zone: The Maze, but he has also had cameo appearances, like as the cursor in the Sega Master System game, Zillion. He has also made playable appearances in other Sega games, like in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing as a racer. He was once considered a mascot for Sega, though this title was later given to Alex Kidd.

In the space year 6216, the titular Fantasy Zone is under attack by the evil planet Menon. Standing in the way of their armies is the brave Opa-Opa, who is armed with a twin shot, bombs, and anything he can purchase from the shop. In the end, it is revealed that his father, O-Papa, is the leader of the villains. He has an all around stronger brother named Upa-Upa that leads the Fantasy Zone defence force. Despite being in a very cutsy environment, Opa-Opa is very prone to stress, to the point where part of him split from him and became the villain of the second game, Fantasy Zone II: The Tears Of Opa-Opa.

In M.U.G.E.N, Opa-Opa was made by RoySquadRocks. He is mainly a zoner, with a wide array of tools and knockdowns to back the opponent up into the corner.

RoySquadRocks' version[]

RSROpaOpaIdle

Opa-Opa takes flight with many of the weapons used in the Fantasy Zone games and a lot of zoning tools. Armed to his nonexistent teeth, he uses six buttons and plays in RoySquadRocks' signature style. He comes with three different A.I. settings, like a lot of RoySquadRocks' other characters.
