Added after all the other characters that starred in The Black Heart, Animus brings a unique and solid moveset that new players and veteran players alike can enjoy, with many combos, quick attacks and even a counter.
Playing as Animus can be challenging to new players to M.U.G.E.N. However, when you study its moves and learn how to sequence them together he can be a good character. Animus has two unique abilities which he can be used in its combos, one move involves leaving itself vulnerable on purpose, however when an opponent tries to attack it with regular attacks, instead of getting hit, it will automatically avoid and deal a large amount of damage onto them instead; during this move, you can't defend yourself from projectiles or throws. Not only that, but Animus is able to send his opponent into the air with its low Ⓑ, and perform air combos. Its other ability is that when in Killer mode, it can make a fire surround it which grows in intensity as its health lowers, allowing it to damage opponents more and further away, however it is restricted to its normal punches and kicks, although it can still perform air combos.
Animus' A.I. is challenging, and will attempt to perform combos on its opponent. Usually, it will try to use Torture Dance, and Walk of Pain if it has enough Power. Animus will try to use his Fatal Move, Blood Bath, whenever it can.
