Electrode is primarily a ranged attacker, with Rollout being its only contact move. While its attack stat isn't particularly high, Electrode has access to two of the most powerful moves in the game: Explosion and Hyper Beam, though the former inflicts self-damage. Seeing as Electrode is an Electric-type, he has an advantage over Water- and Flying- types, but falls short against Ground-type Pokémon.
