Clefable is one of the toughest Pokémon in Project Catch 'Em All. Its life stat is the highest of all non-boss characters, its defence is fair and it has an OK attack stat, but because Metronome can be either a Rock-, Water-, Fire-, or Electric-type attack, it gives Clefable a nice advantage. While Clefable's moveset consists primarily of contact attacks, Body Slam allows it to dodge most attacks, even if it doesn't hit the opponent. Being a Fairy-type, Clefable is weak to only Poison- and Steel-type Pokémon, though none of its moves take advantage of this typing, meaning it has no advantage over Fighting-, Dark- and Dragon-type Pokémon.
