This version of Piccolo use sprites from the second Dragon Ball Z arcade game, with combo heavy custom gameplay influenced both Guilty Gear X and Marvel vs. Capcom's systems, according to the author. If that leaves many unsatisfied, it also has a rather competitive and aggressive A.I. Vegeta must have been right about where the intense power was coming from.
Piccolo uses six buttons, with the light and medium attack buttons being Bastic Attack buttons, Ⓩ being a teleport, and Ⓒ being a power charge. However Piccolo can also teleport and charge power with Ⓧ + Ⓐ and Ⓨ + Ⓑ respectively.
As typical of CHOUJIN's creations, Piccolo is quite combo heavy. It has a fair amount of specials that are often useful during said combos. The A.I. is on a similar level as the same creator's version of Cell, despite not being a boss-like character. That being said, Piccolo will very often use its combos and specials.
