The Necromancer's Goku has gameplay that seems to be rather standard of many Dragon Ball Z characters. It features a large pool of Specials and a single button projectile. Despite this, Goku doesn't rely too much on projectiles, making it reasonably balanced.
The Necomancer's version of Goku is a five button character, with Ⓒ going unused and Ⓩ being a projectile. The other buttons seem to be Normals. Goku's gameplay is seemingly standard, possibly being influenced by the Super Butouden games, hence the source of the sprites, but with heavy modifications, including two more buttons used and the lack of a flying mode.
Goku seems to rely on its large pool of Specials, as combo chaining isn't quite its game. It also seems to be more heavily reliant on close combat, as most of its Specials don't involve projectiles. On the contrary, Goku's Hypers are projectile-like, being able to catch opponents from a distance. Goku also has some mechanics from other games to use to its advantage. It has a parry, a Power charge, and a King of Fighters-styled dodge.
In terms of an A.I, Goku has none. That being said, Goku is an easy opponent to fight against, as all it does is jump around and block, rarely ever attacking.
