Using Kart Fighter sprites, this plucky gorilla doesn't play like anything in particular. Although he has his roots in the source game, he comes with great rushdown options and comboability.
This ape plays in a custom style. While he has two buttons like in the source, he also comes equipped with a Hyper, more comboability, and more moves. A notable tidbit to mention is that his run forward is a very quick 6.9 (For comparison, Kung Fu Man's running speed is 4.6). This, coupled with his small size, makes it very easy for him to rushdown. His only low attack, the crouching Ⓑ, has an even shorter range than the puny Ⓑ, but his speed helps him get close enough to throw. He throws with +Ⓐ, and he can only throw the opponent backwards.
As mentioned before, there are two buttons, a punch (Ⓐ) and a kick (Ⓑ), like in the source game. The Ⓑ hits harder than the Ⓐ does, but only slightly, and the Ⓐ benefits from having more range and combo potential. He can hit with Ⓐ to deliver at most four hits (three in the corner) getting you 220 damage on the average opponent. While he can chain the Ⓐ into the Ⓑ, the kick has a shorter range, so you can only do one Ⓐ before going into the Ⓑ without having the Ⓑ whiff, plus the Ⓑ, being the harder hitting Normal, cannot be chained into the Ⓐ, so you can't ping pong between the two.
He can chain his Normals into Specials (like with Ⓐ -> Ⓐ -> Ⓐ -> Ⓐ -> Banana) and his Normals into the Hyper (like with Ⓐ -> Ⓑ -> Tor), but he can't chain his Specials into the Hyper. All of his Special moves work with only one button, so he is unable to, for example, make the Banana move at different speeds. Two Specials that are very similar are the Upper and the Dance. While Upper is a shoryuken, Dance is also a shoryuken, but it hits multiple times and gives him a running start. The Spin Special is a fast moving lariat that gives the player free range to spin whichever direction they please, like a quicker moving version of Donatello's Headspin from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters.
