My videos just haven't been getting any views. Mugen seems to be a popular subject, though, and I have been playing it a few weaks, found some characters, and played around with it. I found a few tough ones, too. One of the toughest I have is Scorpion by Mike Orbecht. He can beat almost anyone on my mugen, even the powerful boss dragon, Ryugen. But... I never liked the UMK3 Style ninjas that much. I always prefered the simplistic MK1 Ninjas. The only MK1 Ninja I could find was by Lord Sinistro. Let's check him out.
Pay Day (Cons): Controls can be unresponsive at times, weak power, pulling off his fatalatie is different than other Mortal Kombat characters. Pay Dirt (Pros): Noob Saibot Helper (Pulled off by the Smoke Cheat), Smoke and Noob Saibot palletes (Noob Saibot Pallete gives different gameplay.), good intro and ending, a new move.
Lord Sinistro's version is pretty weak, as I said, but can still kick but in the right hands, especially if you can call forth the Noob Saibot helper. Although if you are REALLY good with him, you wouldn't use Noob Saibot at all. But in order to summon Noob Saibot, get your power level to 3, then uppercut the opponent till Noob Saibot shows up in the corner, and while he is still on, press down and taunt. Violla. It was very helpful against MO Scorpion, who is a pain to fight. But how would a Scorpion VS Scorpion battle turn out? Hmmm...
This battle is irregular. It lasts not 3, but 4 rounds, one of them ending in a draw. Wow, on my first Mugen video, too. Don't worry, I beat MO Scorpion once WITHOUT Noob Saibot, but after that, it was fair game, mostly because of innocence. I also wanted to at least show off the power of his Noob Saibot helper. And finally, the battle I won WITHOUT Noob Saibot was mostly beginners luck.
Sorry for the slowness. It seems the bigger a window is, the more problems I have with recording. It also made for a harder fight because it also messed with the controls.
Stage: Medabots Cliff Stage BGM: Highway Star (Deep Purple) (The origonal version)
I could have picked a more appropriate stage and theme, but I didn't really have any, sorry. Well, I hope you enjoy my first Mugen video. I might make more if this gets some views. I might even start my own team.
