Everything is intact from Mortal Kombat 1. There is a roundhouse and a sweep kick with Ⓑ and Ⓐ respectively, there are five buttons including one for blocking, and the unconventional motions for the Special moves are kept the same. There is a regular size and a large size that the player can pick from. The ai starts out weak, not using any Specials and mostly blocking, but eventually becomes very aggressive throughout the match. Its stats might appear beefed, but that is only to make it play like the source game.
