Maximum Speed is the 6th stage from Gradius II: GOFER no Yabou (7th stage in the PCE-CD version). It is the first of the high-speed stages, where you are forced to equip more speed-ups in order to keep with the fast scrolling. The stage also has hazards in the form of big globes, closing doors and dead-ends. The stage's boss, Big Core MK-II, appears in the background.
In M.U.G.E.N, Maximum Speed has been made by Magma Dragoon MK-II.
