This version of Emerl uses custom sprites and gameplay based on MUGENHunter's characters, with a four-button layout. It carries moves from some of MUGENHunter's other Sonic characters, with most of them being from Sonic or Shadow.
This version of Emerl has gameplay inspired from MUGENHunter's characters. As a result, its gameplay is The King of Fighters-styled and it has an unusual button layout. It uses Ⓐ and Ⓧ for punches, Ⓑ and Ⓨ for kicks and Ⓩ for a knockdown attack. However, unlike MUGENHunter's newer Sonic characters, which use the Ⓒ button for a Dodge, the Ⓒ button is unused and the Dodge is instead activated with / Ⓐ+Ⓑ.
Like with MUGENHunter's characters, its comboability is somewhat fickle, but it has a higher damage output in return. Its Life and Attack are higher than most characters. However, its moveset is comprised of moves from Sonic, Shadow and sometimes other characters, giving it great versatility. It may be a bit overpowered though because of the high damage output.
This character has a mechanic shared across MUGENHunter's other characters where pressing both buttons at once instead of either of the buttons required to activate a Hyper, activates a more powerful version of the Hyper which costs 2000 Power instead of 1000. However, like most of MUGENHunter's characters, it has only two different Hypers.
This character has a custom A.I. that is very similar to the default A.I. While it does jump around often, it attacks more frequently than the default A.I., though it's still very easy to beat.
