Iron Tager is a character that first appeared in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. He is a professor of Sector 7, a rebellious scientific organzation that opposes the NOL regarding the use of the Ars Magus. He was severely assaulted by NOL soldiers during the an attempt to retrieve Nirvana from the city of Naobi. He was later revived by Kokonoe, a professor of Sector 7, as a cyborg dubbed the "Red Devil". In BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, his mission is to retrieve Hakumen and to obtain Ragna's Azure Grimoire if possible.
Tager is a 4 buttoned character that can do a dodge roll by pressing Ⓨ. Tager has a power charge which can be activated by pressing Ⓐ+Ⓒ. On the contrary, in terms of speed Iron Tager is the opposite of his original game counterpart. His A.I. is moderate, fast, and calculative and can prove difficult for novices and some experienced players since he utilizes his Distortion and Specials often. Tager's moveset consists of heavy and powerful attacks, grapples, some projectiles, and powers relating to magnetism. He will often use his Tager Driver during combat.
