This version of Shadow uses custom sprites, a four-button layout and The King of Fighters-style gameplay, like MUGENHunter's other characters. He has moderate comboability, but a low damage output and almost no projectiles.
This version of Shadow uses the same button layout as MUGENHunter's other characters, having a The King of Fighters-styled gameplay, akin to MUGENHunter's other characters. He uses Ⓐ and Ⓧ for punches, Ⓑ and Ⓨ for kicks, Ⓒ for a Dodge and Ⓩ for a knockdown attack.
Unlike many of MUGENHunter's other characters, this character has decent comboability. However, his damage output is much lower than the first version's, and he is less overpowered as a result, no longer taking out huge chunks of the opponent's Life with his attacks. However, he has no projectiles except for his Chaos Roaming Hyper, though he does have many Specials that are able to knock down the opponent.
This character has a mechanic shared across MUGENHunter's other characters where pressing both buttons at once instead of either of the buttons required to activate a Hyper, activates a more powerful version of the Hyper which costs 2000 Power instead of 1000. Because of his low damage output, this character can be a bit hard to get used to.
This character has no custom A.I. and uses the engine's default. While it's able to use combos, it rarely does to, and more often than not it jumps around, dodges, or punches or kicks the air.
