Marble Garden Zone is the third, as well as the biggest, level from Sonic the Hedgehog 3. It takes place in a ancient garden, and one of its most famous hazards are the mud pits that, when Sonic reaches the bottom, kill him instantly. Another constant hazard are giant pistons that can instantly crush Sonic, and many spiked balls that swing around on poles, as well as drill machines that destroy the ground and cause Sonic to fall downward through the level. Sonic reaches here after being attacked by a geyser in the previous zone. Afterwards, Sonic uses the help of Tails to fly to the next zone, Carnival Night Zone.
In M.U.G.E.N, Marble Garden Zone was made by Gudine. It uses graphics ripped from Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
