Po is the protagonist of the Kung Fu Panda franchise. Po is the foretold Dragon Warrior, a legendary prodigy who would know the secret behind the Dragon Scroll, and a master of the Panda Style of kung fu, invented by Po himself.
Originally born in the Panda Village, Po was separated from his family as a baby as a result of a massacre and eventually found and adopted by Mr. Ping, who hoped for Po to inherit his noodle shop one day. However, Po was drawn to kung fu, and his enthusiasm led him to be chosen as the Dragon Warrior, after which he began training under Master Shifu.
In M.U.G.E.N, Po has been made by kidthomas. The character's sprites are notable for being taken from various sources, including sprites from the Kung Fu Panda 2 mobile game, official artwork and frankensprites, making his appearance in-game very inconsistent.
Kidthomas' version[]
Kidthomas' version of the Dragon Warrior is a pretty bare-bones character in terms of sprites, animations and gameplay, even going as far as using sprites taken from official artwork to fill the void. He uses four buttons and has a lackluster amount of Specials and Hypers while also having an above average damage output and suffering from several gameplay bugs.
