Heavily based off Marvel vs. Capcom 2, this version of Ken takes some liberties from the source, including having six Basic Attack buttons rather than four, as well as having a new Hyper. Overall, it still manages to encapsulate Ken's speedy gameplay.
While being based off Marvel vs. Capcom 2, this version of Ken harbors six Basic Attack buttons. It is mostly faithful to the source, but it has a couple other features missing such as the tag team system. As it is based off the Marvel vs. Capcom series, it has different properties than its Street Fighter counterpart, such as a flame pillar during its Shinryuken, as well as a larger hadouken with less range.
Ken needs to rely on close combat to make a trajectory, as its lone projectile has rather poor range and dissipates quickly. In addition, in most of its Hypers, Ken needs to be close to the opponent in order for these moves to connect and deliver their peak damage.
Fortunately, Ken is very combo heavy, much like many other Marvel vs. Capcom styled characters. Its low damage output is offset by its very smooth chain comboing. Ken also seems to have a very fast movement speed, helping support this.
Ken has a custom level 3 Hyper, being a combination of all of its level 1 Hypers. That being said, it is very powerful.
Sadly, Ken has no custom A.I coding. This makes it a rather unchallenging opponent.
If Ⓢ is held, Ken has several different properties, possibly based off X-Men vs. Street Fighter, hence the smaller, longer ranged projectile and the Tatsumaki Senpu Kyaku not rising.
