This version is based off of Gambit's appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom 2. It has a .txt file where it can be decided whether it should use four buttons (like in the aforementioned game) or six buttons (similar to previous Marvel vs. Capcom installments). In addition, Gambit's damage output can be configured to be either source accurate, or balanced for M.U.G.E.N.
Being a Marvel vs. Capcom 2 conversion, Gambit is combo heavy, with access to aerial raves. It is also one of the more agile character of the game's cast, but to compensate, it has a very slightly lower defense, possibly making it fit into the "Fragile Speedster" archetype.
Gambit has a brutal A.I. that will constantly use its combos. This can leave inexperienced players helpless, but seasoned M.U.G.E.Nites will find it a decent challenge.
