Jin Kisaragi is a character first appears in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. He was born in England.  He is the brother of Ragna the Bloodedge and has a complex relationship with him. He is responsible for cutting Ragna's right arm under the possession of Yuki Terumi and burning down the old church which served as their home. Later he is adopted by the upper class Kisaragi family and goes to the Military Academy. After his graduation he joins the Librarium and participates in demolishing Ikaruga and slaying its lord. This gives him the moniker "Hero of Ikaruga". Whenever he sees his brother, he goes mad and insane and pursues him. He also has the ability to create ice-shaped projectiles with the Nox Nyctores Yukianesa, shaped like a Japanese Sword.

Jin's A.I. is very rapid and will utilize his combos quite often and take down an unsuspecting opponent in seconds. His moveset consists of the use of his katana and various ice projectiles. As with all of Speedy9199's BlazBlue characters, they come with a mode select; there are four modes that can be selected during the character's intro. "Attack Up" increases attack power but increases damage taken on hit, "Defence Up" increases defence but decreases attack, "Normal" balances stats out, and "Life" greatly increases attack but causes Jin to automatically lose the round once his Life is 300 or less.
