Godzilla vs Hedorah |
Hedorah (also known as The Smog Monster) is a Kaiju who first appeared in the 1971 film Godzilla vs Hedorah. An extraterrestrial Kaiju that is formed out of pollution, which he also consumes, Hedorah utilizes Poison, sludge and smoke to attack, but is ultimately defeated by Godzilla.
Although Hedorah is best recognised in his towering form, he has a flying form, of which he will use frequently.
In M.U.G.E.N, Hedorah has been made twice, by Kozenikan and JosipKnezovicz, Closely following his behavior in the movie, Hedorah fights by using Poison, sludge and smoke. The sprite for Kozenikan's Hedorah was ripped from the 1980s NES Game Godzilla: Monster of Monsters!, while Josipknezovicz's sprites were ripped from Godzilla Battle Legends.
Kozenkian's version[]
Kozenkian's Hedorah is, as expected, slow. However, its attacks have quite decent range. Some are surprisingly powerful, such as an attack where Hedorah fills the floor of the stage with poisoned water. This attack allows Hedorah to deal with Cheap characters such as Super Mario 64 and Shrek, as the Poisoned water allows Hedorah to restore health at a remarkable rate, making the Kaiju effectively invincible for the rest of that round.
