Released in a 50% complete state, Heavy didn't get access to much of Mann Co.'s supply of weapons, and thus he's largely restricted to Normals, with only a handful of specials. While Heavy can deal some decent damage, his combo ability is pretty limited and his long recovery frames make him rather vulnerable to attack. Perhaps Heavy is actually a Spy in disguise, as hitting him will reveal flashes of his true form.
Heavy is a three-button charcter, using for his attacks. Ⓢ is used to activate Taunt Kill, which is a taunt move that can also hit the opponent. The strength of an attack is denoted by the button pressed to activate it, though this only applies to Heavy's Normals. Heavy's Ⓩ Normals also function as Launcher attacks.
Heavy is able to Cancel his lower-button Normals into any of his higher-button Normals, meaning that Ⓧ can chain into either Ⓨ or Ⓩ, and Ⓨ can chain into Ⓩ, but Ⓩ cannot chain into Ⓧ or Ⓨ. Theoretically, Heavy would be able to chain his Normals in a linear fashion (Ⓧ -> Ⓨ -> Ⓩ), but in practice this isn't possible as the knockback from his Ⓧ and Ⓨ Normals combined knock him too far for Ⓩ to connect. Heavy is also unable to cancel his moves in the air, and he cannot cancel any of his Normals into his Specials or Hypers, which limits his overall combo ability.
Heavy is an offensive character with a considerable focus on melee combat. Shotgun, Shotgun High and Shotgun Air are decent attacks to use at a distance and come out fairly quickly. Uppercut has good range as Heavy dashes forward while using it, though it doesn't deal that much more damage than Heavy's Normals. Taunt Kill is an unusual taunt attack that, if it connects, reduces the opponent's Life to 1 and knocks them back very far. The move is very difficult to use, as it has a very long startup time and a tiny hitbox.
Heavy only has two Hypers that he can use. The first is Sasha Strike, a long-range attack that deals quite a lot of damage and inflicts on opponents unlucky enough to be hit by it, though it can be blocked pretty easily as there's a small window for the opponent to activate their block. The other is Boxer Combo, which is a combo-attack move that deals similar amounts of damage to Sasha Strike, though it can only hit one opponent at a time.
Heavy uses M.U.G.E.N's default A.I., which is expected given that the character is unfinished. As such, Heavy will tend to jump around and attack infrequently, leaving himself fairly open to attacks.
